Why has the BBC (this is not a question about the SWP) never repeated the television series 1990 starring....?

I think the SWP would be flattered to be bracketed with this programme, I mean for goodness sake it's not like they're ever likely to get this sort of power. But as for the synopsis of this drama, spooky indeed and I would love to see it repeated.
