Would it be weird to get into Celtic music/culture if...?

Celtic music is my pion. I just think it's so beautiful, and I also love Celtic/Highland dancing and the Celtic culture in general. I'm just worried that people will think that I'm a poser or something ...like I'm trying to act Irish, Scottish, etc. My grandma is from Scotland, so I don't know how Scottish that makes me (if any), but I just don't want it to be awkward around people who are actually from Celtic countries. Does that make sense? Any advice? Thanks
