Swollen regions on old cat's back?

Typically cats in renal failure have sunken in sides, usually not lumps. Sounds like an infection from the cat fight. You can shave her fur to have a closer inspection of the swollen area to determine if it is caused by a wound. Of course, have the cat checked by a vet especially with its health problems.
