You're right. This is more of the sad illiteracy we see everyday at all levels of society. I've never gotten the impression that the mediators of YA were particularly intelligent and I consider them a little too, dare I say nazi-ish, based on some of the other censorship decisions they've made. To the point where I try not to express my more radical or progressive thoughts and ideas here for fear of being lynched.
